Since the opening of his workshop-gallery in Québec City's Vieux-Port district (Old Port of Québec) in 1994, Guy Levesque's career as a designer and sculptor has evolved greatly. Indeed, with a shop-window in this tourist area, his public exposure has grown considerably. The high demand for his unique pieces has given him vast creative freedom. His work can now be found all over the world.
The workshop-gallery concept allows people to see the steps and details of the moulding technique he uses in making both furniture and sculpture. For 25 years, this self-taught artist has developed his own methods and style: "I like to create a physical link between art and individuals. I'm intrigued by spatial concepts, visual impact and novelty."
The following pictures show the objects presently available in his gallery. They are updated regularly.
